Yesterday mornig we woke up to the first snow of the season. I was so excited I couldn't help but get out my camera and start taking pictures. I love the snow!
On January 5th, 2012 Sunflower had twin lambs. I ewe and one ram. All 3 of them and doing wonderful. The lambs are growing very quickly and a very healthy. Here are some pictures of the 1/5/12 event. I was flipping through my sheep book, and I noticed today is our Ewe Sunflowers 2nd birthday! I remember when we first brought her home at a couple months old :) Boy how time flies. NOW, If she would just have her baby/babies for me, I would be one happy Sheppardess! All of here at The Sumerlin Dorper Farm hope your holidays were wonderful. We have been very busy around the farm. We have one ewe left to lamb and she is due any day now. I am pretty sure she will have twins, but I have been wrong before. I will try and get a picture filled post up here soon. But please check out the "Our Flock" and "For Sale" pages. They have been updated. Thanks to all of you that follow our blog :) We enjoy your feedback and e-mails. |
