Not only did we have a new addition to the flock, we had a pretty fun filled weekend.
We went for a hike to Munson creek falls. 
We rode our bikes for the first time this year!
I also started working on the garden. 
In other news, my seedlings are popping up!

I am sitting here starting to plan my 2013 garden, and it made me start thinking about 2012's garden and lambs. So here is a quick slide show of 2012! Yesterday was bitter sweet. It was time to harvest my sunflower heads. I love sunflowers so it was hard for me to take them down, but I know that this wonderful weather won't last much longer and if I wait to long the head will start to rot, so I did it :)     Seeds were nice sized  All Done!  My next project is harvesting and chipping the corn for the sheep. :) We have doing a variety of different things before the rains come. Here is a couple pics of what we have been up to.  Me in my garden.  One of my big beef tomatoes.  Garden clean up, which the sheep loved. They ate every last piece of the pea plants.  We hung our sign :)  And a little bit of relaxing! Today was a very busy day. Besides cleaning and laundry :/ this is what I got accomplished  I started my day off snapping green beans and getting them ready to be blanched and frozen.  1 hour later! Done snapping :)  Blanched, food saved and ready for the freezer.  Processed the rest of the carrots!  And finished a pair of mittens! All before 3. I think I will take the rest of the day off. Well until it is time to make dinner. Today started off prett slow and lazy,  But after I found my ambition I got quite a bit done.  Harvested some beets for dinner.  Harvested the rest of my carrots.  More green beans. It looks like tomorrow I will be teaching myself to can. (wish me luck)  Harvested all of my potatoes. We guess it is probably 50 lbs.  And I cleaned up the garden a bit. I still have some work to do, but it looks much better. :)  The grapes are doing great this year, but the are still pretty small. Hopefully the weather will hold out so we can eat some!   This weekend we had 2 more lambs born. Pretty girl and a ram lamb and a ewe lamb!  This is the ram lamb Bouncer.  The ewe lamb Lucy! In other news we finally named Roxanne's twin ewe lambs  The lamb in the back is Sunny and the one in the front is Windy! Today, we let Roxanne and the twins out with the rest of the flock.
