Pretty quiet here at The Sumerlin Dorper Farm.
I have my greenhouse bench full of starts and more going in the aerogarden. The garden has not been tilled yet, but everything will be ready to go in the ground as soon as it dries up enough to till.
In other updates, I am still working on the same sweater, but it is coming along nicely :)
I hope all is well with everyone - happy farming!
Currently I am working on a short sleeved sweater. This is the right sleeve and beginning of the front and back :)
Little Tinkerbell is really becoming quite the charector. She rearly sits still! Here is a short peak.
Not only did we have a new addition to the flock, we had a pretty fun filled weekend.
We went for a hike to Munson creek falls.
We rode our bikes for the first time this year!
I also started working on the garden.
In other news, my seedlings are popping up!
After a long day of work on Monday, I drove to the farm and walked right in the barn and went about my normal feeding routine. As I was throwing the hay in the trough I heard the sweet sound a new mother makes to her lamb. I kinda laughed and kept going. I heard it again, but this time it actually sunk in what that sound was. I look over in the far stall to my left and I see.........
Here was a adorable long legged little lamb. I rushed in and check it out immediately. Finally! A Ewe!!! I was one happy sheppardess.
Great Sunday surprise! Roxanne had her lamb!
Roxanne's adorable ram!
Little guy checking out what Larry and mama are doing!
It is FINALLY time to start seeds for 2013's garden! I cleaned up my aerogarden, gathered my supplies and started the first round of seeds.
6 types of Tomatoes, 3 types of peppers, clerey, Broc, Cauli and one mystery seed.
Now the hard part, to sit and wait for them to sprout!
But while we wait, here is a quick video of Bruiser!
This was when he was a day old and still very clumsy!
Today is Milkshake's (Sunflower's lamb) 1 month birthday! He has gotten so big :)
