Well, Hay season came and went faster than you can blink. The hay got cut Saturday, raked on Sunday, Then, the rains came and did not stop all week. Needless to say the whole hay crop was ruined, looks like we will be buying hay AGAIN this year. Oh well, thing can't always go as planned. On a happier note, things are really growing well even though it has been VERY wet this year. I am winning the battle with the slugs so I am on happy lady. Here are some pics of the garden.
From July 4th - July 11th I have been on Vacation. I am returning to work at 1 p.m. tomorrow. Through out that week I have been working around the farm and enjoying the beautiful summer weather we have been having. Here are some picture of what is going on here at the Sumerlin Dorper Farm.
My name is Christine. I am an Accountant at a local lumber mill for a living, but that just pays the bills. My real life starts when i go home to the farm. I am an Avid gardener and shepherdess :) This blog will focus on my life on the farm. The joys of owning Dorper sheep, and the fun and excitment of gardening and cooking.
